Mr. Treadway has served a record as Chairman of the Barbourville Board of Education - - - having served continuously in that role since January 6, 1967. Mr. Treadway was first elected to the Board in November 1960.
 District Court Judge John Knox Mills administers the oath of office to recently re-elected Barbourville Board of Education members left to right: Kenneth M. Boggs, Linda W. Johnson, and Edwin E. Smith. Mr. Boggs has served on the Board since January 1990, Mrs. Johnson has been on the Board since January 1997, while Edwin E. Smith begins his second four-year term.
