This is a major project with a great deal of work. You will receive
grades for:
- Group project - This includes your "Recommended Works:
African-American Literature Anthology" document, your group presentation,
and the introduction/overview of your final product. You will also
receive participation grades which will be more individualized based on
effort on your literary analyses and peer input.
- Literary Analyses - Your literary analysis/analyses will be counted as a
single test grade. These are potential portfolio pieces, so do your
best. They will be scored by the Kentucky Holistic Scoring Guide,
which you can link to
here (scroll down for both Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat formats.)
