In an incredible turn of events, your state and federal governments have given
extra money to your school for this year and years to come. Your school
has been able to hire additional faculty and has, therefore, been able to add
more classes to the curriculum offered.
One of the classes your school would like to offer is a course in
African-American literature. The school superintendent has asked the
teacher of this course to allow students to offer input on what works should be
included in an anthology of African-American literature to be taught in this
course.
