Michael E. Boyd, a graduate of Barbourville High School in 1985 will deliver the Commencement address to the 2007 senior class on Friday evening, May 18, 2007 at 7:30 p.m. in the Treadway Activity Center on North Main Street.
Michael Boyd is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Boyd of Pine Street and was the Salutatorian of his BHS Class of 1985. He then enrolled at the University of Kentucky where he earned a BS Degree in Biology in 1989.
Mr. Boyd has worked for the City of Middlesboro for the past seventeen (17) years as a Laboratory Chemist.
He is very active in his community and church activities. He has been a Middlesboro Little League Officer and Coach for eleven (11) years. He is a member and Sunday school teacher at Pump Springs Baptist Church.
Mr. Boyd and his wife, Tabitha, have two sons: Seth, age 17, and Luke, 11.
