Marsha is our High School Science Teacher. She graduated valedictorian from Knox Central in 1993, summa cum laude from Transylvania in 1997, and majored in Teaching Biology.
Currently, she is in the graduate program at EKU for school counseling, but does not plan to leave the classroom anytime soon.
Marsha taught for two years in Northern Kentucky at Williamstown Independent High School, but was eager to return to Barbourville when a position became available.
She is currently coaching our Academic Team and Odyssey of the Mind team.
Her reason for entering the teaching field is she enjoyed her science classes because she liked the way they taught her how to see the world differently.
She also knew she wanted a career that would allow her to be creative and work with people, so teaching science was the obvious choice.
